It took a bit over a year to create this oil painting and it is an absolute joy to be able look at it every single day and discover some of its hidden messages. A fun fact: the panel is actually an old door from the University of Toronto, years back when they were changing well, doors. I vividly remember a trip on St George Street, with a tiny flatbed cart and a huge door just waiting to be transformed into art.
