The tour takes about 90 minutes:

In the lower galleries you will hear a short presentation on the architecture of the house, its history and most famous owners, as well as an introduction to the art and ethos of visual artist Eugen-Florin Zamfirescu. Prepare to be enchanted by the beauty of your surroundings and the story of our civilization seen by the artist through a unique lens.​

In the upper galleries we will travel together on an unexpected journey, from the world of quantum mechanics and string theory to deep space, and a possible future for humankind, as imagined by the artist.

Tracing Timeless Treasures" Tour
The tour takes 90 minutes and includes a brief history of the house, its unique architecture and most famous inhabitants, including local grain merchant George Carter and poet Mary Dyer Sparks.

All through the gallery spaces you will hear short presentations on unique pieces of furniture and their fascinating stories.
​
We will unravel together the mysteries of sextants, theodolites and other magic machines.
​
This tour is a journey through time, one rich with tales of tradition and innovation, heritage and creativity.

An absolutely unique tour! An immersive experience blending presentations by artist Eugen-Florin Zamfirescu on the meaning of darkness and light in painting and science, with atmospheric soundscapes and readings from writings and the poetry of 16th century Italy.

The tour is an intimate one - 8 visitors max - it takes place in the lower galleries and its duration is about one hour.
