A diary/ledger made not of written words or numbers but of clippings from old medical/science magazines and newspapers from late 19th century. While the real story is mostly unknown to me I found out the owner was a doctor – M.E. Brackett - practicing in Clarendon, NY. In transforming the book I wanted to capture a bit of that essence by adding as external elements test tubes, brass plates and copper bands hinting at the DNA sequence.
